Every year Daterra, a coffee farm in Brazil in Cerrado region, selects their best microlots produced during the crop year and offers them in an auction platform. While the auction will be on the 21, CoRo is working with Daterra to bring the Bay Area a sneak peek at these very special and very small batches!

Fault Radio, a modern online radio station based in Oakland, CA, is coming to CoRo Coffee Room on November 14th from 1pm-3pm! For each episode the station live streams from unique locations within our community, featuring both emerging local artists and businesses important to the Bay Area's identity. Accresco, a Colombian coffee importer, is visiting the US and will be in the CoRo cupping room on November 7th at 10am. Come cup some natural and washed coffees from Tabi and Castillo with Daniela Maya Fernandez, a coffee grower, specialty coffee processor, and a national COE judge in Colombia!

Spend an afternoon roasting some of Royal's favorite Crown Jewel coffees on some fun, unique small-batch roasters. The class will involve lots of hand-on roasting time, and tasting and comparing the results from the divergent types of heat transfer.
Learn the basics of water mineral content and how to customize your mineral content. Practice tasting specific minerals in water including Magnesium & Calcium Chloride and Sulfate, and Sodium & Potassium Bicarbonate. Explore the effect of roast style in combination with mineral content.
Learn stages of the roast and how profiling impacts flavor in the cup. Hands on roasting with an expert, focused on honing your profiling skills.
