Atoma i s a privately owned washing station located in Wes tern Ethiopia, owned and operated by Mike Mamo. It i s the second site that he owns in the Gera Woreda, the fir s t being Telila, located in the Kecho Anderacha Kebele.

The Atoma Station completed its first full season of operation during the 2022/2023 season. Despite its age, Atoma benefit s from the expertise and knowledge of Fikru Demissie (pictured, left), who over sees quality control. In addition to his roles at Atoma and Telila, Fikru has served as head of coffee and quality control for Addis Exporter, Atoma's sister company , for the past 20 years . Through vertical integration, Addis Exporter also acts as the dry miller and exporter for Atoma and Telila lots .

This harvest season, Atoma solely produced naturally processed coffees . However, the plan for the upcoming year is to introduce washed and honey processing at this site, while Atoma's sister washing station, Telila, will handle the majority of natural and experimental processing.
