This 2-day class offers an array of tools to equip roasters to dramatically improve their coffee skills. Using green coffee analytics as a foundation for understanding the raw material, you'll learn the basics of why density, screen size, and moisture play an important role in the way coffee develops in the roaster.
Taste the lineup of Our Coffees' newest lots imported and farmed by the same Brazilian family that spares no expense in creating consistently amazing coffees. All coffees presented will be available at the Annex. See you here!
Max Bretzke, owner of Land and Water Coffee, will lead a cupping of the same coffee roasted 4 different ways on our Probat 5K roaster. He'll walk us through each unique roast profile while we cup and compare the results. Learn how roast profiles impact cup flavor. Enhance your roasting knowledge and experience.
Bring your roast to cup with the group. Experienced and novice roasters, and everyone in between, are welcomed! Join us for supportive and friendly feedback on your newest coffee. Everyone loves these cuppings!
